sample of notes ... stress and emotions in sports

4. STRESS IN TEAM

Many of us spend a large part of our time working with the same group of people.

When we like these people and enjoy working with them, our work can be deeply satisfying and we can achieve a great deal. But if we find our co-workers difficult to deal with and teamwork is plagued with conflict, work quickly becomes stressful and unpleasant. Conflict within our teams can seriously undermine our productivity and ultimately, the success of our work.

This section introduces tools that can help you solve problems with dysfunctional teams and build better working relationships. This helps you control what may be a serious source of stress in your life.

Understanding Teams – For Coaches
For us to understand where teamwork can go wrong, we first need to understand how good teams are designed, and how they manage to work well together.

Team Design - Teams Shouldn't Be Too Big. The fundamental “design” of the team has a big impact on its success. By design, we mean the number of team members, their mix of skills and experience, the resources they have available, and the way their organization supports them.

At first sight, it's natural to think that the more people belong to a team, the more likely it is to achieve its goal. There is obviously some truth in this.

However, coordinating teamwork takes time, and the larger the amount of co-ordination, the more time is needed. Think of it this way: If only two people are on a team, each person only needs to co-ordinate activity with one other person. If four people are on a team, each person needs to co-ordinate with three others. If six people are on the team, each person needs to co-ordinate activities with five others. The more people on a team, the more productive time each person loses because of the co-ordination activities needed to produce a coherent team product.

managing emotional stress

emotional stress management is a key to securing mental, emotional, physical, and social health. Learn to recognize and reduce stress in yourself, take intense emotions in stride and gain confidence in yourself and in your ability to relate well to others. This program provides you with tools for resiliency and emotional management. The exercises help you link to the emotional centers of your brain, enabling you to recognize and manage your response to stress as well as experience, accept, and benefit from your intense emotions. Without these skills, your communication will consistently be derailed because overwhelming emotional stress will always override the intentional thinking parts of your brain.

This program will incorporate sensory and motor distressing skills. Participants are expected to be able to apply the practical skills learned to minimize the effects of stress on their emotions. This will prevent further mental and physical health problems.

Bahagian 4
17 CIRI BERPASUKAN

CIRI 4

Komunikasi

1. Pasukan Adalah Suara Ramai Yang Bersatu Hati.
2. Kebanyakan Masalah Komunikasi Boleh Diselesaikan Dengan Keakraban.

• Komunikasi harus cepat dan menyeluruh

CIRI 5

Kompitansi

1. Jika Anda Tidak Mahu, Pasukan Sudan Tentu Tidak Boleh.
2. Manusia Lupa Akan Kepantasan Anda Melakukan Tugas – Tetapi Mereka Ingat Kesempurnaan Yang Anda Lakukan.

a. mereka komited untuk berjaya

CIRI 6

Kebergantungan

1. Jangan Takut Pada Mereka Yang Membangkang, Takutilah Pada Mereka Yang Mengelakkan Diri.
2. Pada Analisa Terakhir, Satu Kualiti Yang Ada Pada Semua Orang Yang Berjaya….Ialah Kebolehan Untuk Memikul Tanggung Jawab.
3. Adalah Tidak Cukup Apabila Anda Melakukan Yang Terbaik; Kadangkala Kita Mesti Melakukan Apa Yang Diperlukan.

Kebergantungan penting didalam memastikan kejayaan sesebuah pasukan.

a. Motif.

c. Tindakan yang berdisiplin.

contoh nota kecerdasan emosi

4 fasa penyelesaian masalah itu adalah;

1. Mengenalpasti dan menentukan jenis masalah tersebut.
2. Mencari jalan penyelesaian yang mungkin betul.
3. Memilih jalan penyelesaian yang terbaik.

Sekiranya konflik yang sering memberi tekanan kepada anda berlaku di tempat kerja, fikirkan tentang;

Sekiranya konflik tetap berlaku, isyarat konflik telah berlaku ialah;

Enam Langkah Menyelesaikan Konflik

1. Mengakui bahawa adanya konflik.
2. Mengenalpasti konflik yang sebenarnya.
3. Mendengar semua sudut pandang.
4. Bersama mengkaji cara untuk menyelesaiakan konflik.
5. Mendapatkan kesepakatan dan tanggungjawab untuk menemukan penyelesaian.
6. Membuat jadual untuk sesi tindakan lanjut untuk mengkaji resolusi.

Rumusan
